Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Overseeing campers ages 6-12 in camp like setting where you will promote fun and safe play in such sports as soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and much more!

Essential Duties

Provide a safe and fun environment for all campers.
Know and understand all emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
Identify and respond to camper behavior issues.
Communicate with parents about participant’s experiences and report concerns to Camp Director.
Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports, and daily attendance.
Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the camp and all program areas. This includes but is not limited to being responsible for your campers safety and their whereabouts.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

Must be FIRST AID/CPR/AED certified (if not, you will be trained).
Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Must be a current student at ASU.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

Have worked with youth in some capacity.
Majoring in a teacher related program.
