Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

This is a student employment position providing in-depth assistance and support to the department or program.

Essential Duties

1. Attends lower-level classes.
2. Provides assistance to instructors.
3. Provides out of class support for students in the College of Science and Technology.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

Must be enrolled as a full-time student in the College of Science and Technology at Armstrong for the duration of employment and maintain a “B” average. High performance in current or past upper-level Science and Technology classes.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

1. Effective communication both verbal and written.
2. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
3. Ability to work effectively with little oversight or direction.
