Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Act as liaison between community resources and PEP.

Essential Duties

Student would work in a support position in the Peer Educator Program within the Counseling Center. This position would research campus and community resources, act as liaison between PEP and community members, research new outreach initiatives, and help in the daily operations.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

-Strong communication skills.
-Strong organization skills.
-Ability to master tasks quickly.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

-Major in related field, such as Public Health, Psychology, Communication or Heath Professions.
-Interest, experience, or knowledge in prevention and outreach.
-Volunteer experience within community organizations that work with health, wellness, substance abuse, interpersonal violence, and/or sexual health.
