Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Responsible for the coordination and management of marketing, box office processes, and facility coordination for activities in a university art, music and theatre program.


Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Essential Duties

Develops marketing and advertising campaigns for department programs


Provides customer service by communicating regularly with patrons via email regarding relevant show information.


Conceptualizes and coordinates production of designs for department flyers, posters, and brochures.


Manages parts of the department website.


Coordinates department calendar and auditorium usage calendar.


Manages department social media accounts.


Hires, supervises, and trains student box office staff.


Operates Vendini ticketing system, including the creation of forms for all ticket sales, customer data management, and facilitating accurate deposits.


Coordinates the Fine Arts Hall and Jenkins Hall facilities.


Assists with other projects/duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

Bachelors degree.


Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and programs.


Strong verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to write and speak clearly and persuasively.


Passion for the arts.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

Bachelors in Arts Administration, Fine Arts, Business, or Marketing and Communications.


Master’s Degree in Arts Administration, Fine Arts, Business, or Marketing and Communications.


Experience in arts management or similar experience in marketing and box office work
