Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Medicinal Organic Research: The student will become familiar with numerous medicinal organic chemistry research techniques directed toward the synthesis of a library of biologically active molecules. Techniques include: organic synthesis, purification, and spectroscopy.

Essential Duties

The student will perform organic synthesis.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

Completion of CHEM 2101.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

Completion of CHEM 2102.
