Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Tutor students learning French at Armstrong. Assist with homework, grammatical/vocabulary explanations, and conversation drills to improve presentational and interpersonal communication skills.

Essential Duties

Assist students with French homework.
Converse with students in level-appropriate French.
Assist Modern Language professors with tasks and projects when necessary.
Provide support with technological issues.
Participate in professional development training.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

Be an enrolled student in good standing at Armstrong.
Speak French at a the Advanced-High or above level.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

Some tutoring experience preferred.
Be comfortable with working with technology and computers.
Be professional, patient, and open-minded.
