Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Assisting Art Gallery Director and Studio Art Professor Raymond Gaddy with assigned projects relating to the operation of the Fine Arts Gallery and studio art classes as needed by professor Gaddy or other studio art classes
as assigned.

Essential Duties

Perform administrative and clerical tasks, customer service to gallery visitors when on duty in the gallery and any assigned duties in preparation for upcoming art gallery shows as
well as other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

Must be an art major and must be enrolled at Armstrong State University at time of employment and each semester after.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

Effective communication (verbal and written), organization, and human relations
skills; proficient with Microsoft Applications software, including spreadsheets,
database and word processing; successful completion of background
investigation prior to employment; ability to work with diverse populations.
