Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Institutional Work-Study Student Assistants work in a variety of positions across campus. Departments have varying job descriptions for student employees.

Essential Duties

General office responsibilities to include, but not limited to, assisting faculty and staff as needed, running errands, making copies, answering phones, data entry, and maintaining and creating computer data files.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

Must be enrolled at Armstrong State University at the time of employment and each semester after.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

Effective communication (verbal and written), organization, and human relations skills; proficient with Microsoft Applications software, including spreadsheets, database and word processing; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment; ability to work with diverse populations.
