Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Works with Arts Marketing Manager to run the Fine Arts Box Office for the Art, Music, and Theatre programs. Works with Armstrong Students, Faculty, and Staff as well as the general public to provide excellent customer service. This position will also help maintain a database of customers. It will also help creating and maintaining excel documents in recruiting efforts as well as general office work.

Essential Duties

Work with Arts Marketing Manager and other box office assistants to help people purchase tickets. To assist in making programs for concerts and shows on campus. Will need to be able to work some nights and weekends in the box office both in the Fine Arts Hall and in the Jenkins Theatre. As well as Box Office hours weekdays from 12-3. Help with set up for recruitment events by putting packets together and setting up tables with displays. As well as general office duties.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

This position requires strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email. Must be able to take initiative and be able to work independently. Fast paced work environment must be adaptable. Must be be High level of organization and time management. Must be able to use office suite especially Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Must qualify for FA CWSP

Preferred Qualifications and Training

Knowledge of Adobe software especially indesign and photoshop. Proficient in computers.
