Position Summary Information

Nature of Work

Student will work with organic chemistry faculty to prepare organic laboratory on a weekly basis, break down experiments and keep up with supplies, chemicals, waste and overall cleaning of the laboratories.

Essential Duties

Must be able to manipulate chemicals, calculuate and prepare various solutions, run the NMR, FTIR, GCFID, GCMS, Polarimeter and utilize other standard organic equipment.

Minimum Qualifications and Training

Must have passed CHEM 2101, 2101L, 2102 and 2102L with a minimum grade of C or better.

Preferred Qualifications and Training

Chemistry major preferred.
